This is an OST file repair tool.

SysInfoTools OST File Recovery software is for repair of corrupt OST files. All the elements in OST files such as calendar, contacts, appointments, tasks, journals, notes, etc. The recovered data can be saved in different formats such as PST and MSG format of MS Outlook; and DBX and EML of Outlook Express, in MBOX and Archive (EML, VCF, ICS and text) formats. Because of this capability, this could easily be used as a format converter between various formats. It is an easy-to-use software tool, and most users will be able to start using the tool very easily. The controls are intuitive. This is built after a style similar to Outlook and thus such users should not find any difficulties in using this tool. OST is an offline database file that faces multiple problems and is prone to frequent crash. Under such situation, an OST file becomes inaccessible and cannot be opened. Many situations like virus attack, sudden power failure, abrupt termination of MS Outlook and hard drive malfunction, can cause an OST database to be damaged.

Recovery can be executed in three different modes. The standard mode handles minor damage of OST files quickly. Advanced Mode lets recover moderately corrupt files and the deep mode handles severely damaged ones. This tool effectively repairs corrupt OST databases and recovers all the data these databases contain. These include emails, calendar, contacts, appointments, tasks, journals, notes; etc. Complete OST recovery can be done in a few minutes. Recovery of accidentally deleted emails of OST files and recovery of even the mails which have been emptied from the Deleted Items box is possible. Recovered data could be previewed. It is only then the recovered data would be saved in a new file. The source file does not get affected at all in the process. This is a good tool.
